The Smith-Corona Galaxie XII is a full-size manual typewriter from the 1970s, made in the United States. As one of the final models in Smith-Corona’s long-running “Galaxie” line, the XII offered rugged construction, a wide 12-inch carriage, and a variety of features geared toward heavy-duty use — making it a favorite among students, journalists, and home typists.
This model features a blue body with contrasting light grey accents and classic cream-colored keycaps. It includes adjustable touch control, pop-up paper support, red/black ribbon selector, power-space key and a wide return lever for ease of use.
