1970s Native American Sterling Silver, Turquoise, Coral, Feather & Claw Earrings

For those who like things that are a little on the "wild" side, an intriguing pair of earrings that feature actual curving claws from an unknown critter. Certainly not bear claws, because these are much too small. The claws are wrapped in sterling end caps with hand cut sawtooth edges. The turquoise and coral cabs are also set in sawtooth bezels and accented by tiny applied silver drops. A jump ring is soldered to the lower interior edge of the end cap, from which two stamped feathers dangle freely. The end result is an asymmetrical design that feels balanced. I did a little research and only found one other pair listed on another site that matched the earrings I am offering, and that seller is asking $109.00. I think we can do better than that. The earrings measure 2 1/8" long from the top of the ear wire x 12" at the widest point. Unmarked, but test as sterling and have a combined weight of 5.2 grams. In very good vintage condition.
